This country is in great crisis.   I had hoped that Obama would have brought us together and assuaged some of the animosity that seems to be sweeping our country.  The opposite has occurred.  He has become the Great Divider.  His unbridled lust for power is unparalleled in American society. Even Bob Woodward of the Washington Post, a notoriously liberal newspaper, stated a couple of days ago that Obama is performing like a "madman,"  which brought almost instantaneous threats of personal retaliation from the administration.

In his attempts to blindly destroy the Constitution by his totally unjustified attacks on the 2nd Amendment, Obama now appears to be directly attacking the rights we possess under the 1st: to wit, freedom of the press and freedom of expression.

Will this narcissist ever be satisfied until he has brought the country to destruction?   Millions think otherwise and millions believe this to be true. We are almost equally divided.  Divide and conquer is as old a concept as politics itself.  Get us fighting among ourselves and then swoop in for the kill.

We are in our greatest time of peril since the Second World War.

I am nether a Republican nor a Democrat, and at age 70, I fully realize the ramifications of the government's actions against the citizenry, having been under attack for three decades by some of their most pathological representatives.

The politicians have long since stopped working for the people who elected them, but almost uniformly seek to feather their own nests. It's all about lust for power and personal greed.  Lord Acton:  "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."  Hence, the pathological attitude of our persecutors.

Change is coming.  From what I have observed, we are attaining critical mass and something is bound to blow.  I am fearful, to say the least, of just what that may be.

To this current date, 44 arms and weapons accessories manufacturers have now refused to do business with the fascist government of New York state.  There will be more.  If Smith and Wesson and Ruger would get off their corporate asses and do the same, it would make a huge difference.   But corporate greed is malignant and S and W has always cowered in the face of organized government outrages.  I'll never buy a firearm from either manufacturer again.
