In the last two days, two Bell Long Ranger helicopters have overflown my house.  Could be the same chopper.  As a skilled pilot and a member of Army aviation for almost three years, not to mention a former helicopter plot myself, I can usually recognize the type of aircraft by the sounds made by the rotors.  You can always tell a Bell.

This a quiet valley here.  A chopper sounds like a freight train because of rotor sounds reflecting off the hills.
