Watching a Netflix series on the Miami-Dade SRT. I first arrived in Miami in the summer of 1963, fresh from the Army.  It was paradise. I lived there for about 3 decades and finally left after I realized that Miami will never recover from the violent crime that haunts it.

Miami is Paradise Lost.
