Got sober, finally.  Detoxed at the great Tuscon VA hospital.  Been mainly sober ever since.  Slipped a couple of times, but I am sober now.

The past five years have been an utter disaster because of the booze.  I often used it to ameliorate the pain of the hits.  But the jackals love it when I drink!  It just makes their job of totally destroying my mind much easier.  So why should I continue to aid the slime in my own destruction?  NO!  HELL NO! No more!
