Somewhat to my surprise, I survived the night. Slept fairly well.

These days, each time I take to my bed, I ask God and Jesus to protect my loved ones and, if He chooses to take me in my sleep, to forgive me.  I can do no more, nor do I fear the crossing.  But my family is out of town and I am concerned about my old dog who would be here alone.  I leave food and water out for her, just in case.

Another thing I have forgotten to mention... The snails have hacked my Gmail spellcheck and several words I commonly misspell are not flagged, so I must proof read each post, email and comments on other venues for typos, which I normally do anyway.  No big deal.  Just more cuts in the Death of a Thousand Cuts.

Press on!
