I cannot count the times my various dwellings have been burglarized and items stolen, beginning around 1983.  Both petty theft and grand theft have been committed.

It Florida, where I have lived or been based out of during my flying career that spanned over thirty years, burglary is a forcible felony, authorizing by law the use of deadly force to prevent.

Yet, these slimeballs break in and have been breaking into my home with total impunity.  They are repeat felons.  They all should be doing hard time in the state prison system.  But they continue their outrages.

I only hope that one day, I get lucky and catch one in the act.  It will be the very worst, and very likely the last, day of his pathetic life.
