Today is July 4th, 2012.  Today in the United States, we celebrate the founding of our country, based on lofty principles.  "...among them, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."  That dream is as dead as the founders who fought for it.  Targeted individuals are the living proof of that.

In contravention of at least a dozen felony statutes, crimes perpetrated by ruthless, power-hungry and often psychotic individuals, our lives have become constant battles for psychological and occasionally physical survival.  We have been denied the very basic freedoms the Founders envisioned for us 236 years ago.

This travesty will one day be exposed.  Maybe it is the height of foolishness for me to believe that.   All it is, is a hope. A small hope. The "justice system" in the U.S. is all about the system and not about the justice.  Hopefully, justice will be done and a few, likely not many, of the torturers will be brought to the dock to defend themselves against their crimes against humanity.  That is, of course, if the country survives at all.  That, I'm afraid, is increasingly up for grabs.
